PM opens Military Hardware Display

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday inaugurated the 8-day Military Hardware Display, 2019 at the National Parade Ground in the city on the eve of Independence Day and National Day, reports UNB.

She opened the display in the afternoon by cutting a ribbon and releasing balloons. The PM witnessed an attractive fly past of six war planes of the Air Force.

A 20-member team of Bangladesh Army took part in para-jumping from helicopters.

The PM went round different stalls set up highlighting contributions and heroic role of the Armed Forces in the Liberation War, projecting development and modernisation of the forces by the present government in the last 10 years.
