Police nab five members of robbery ring

Police arrested five members of a robbery ring from Adabar area in the city on Tuesday, reports UNB.

The arrestees are-Md Shahrukh, Sabbir, Md Laden, Md Rezaul Karim and Md Nishat Hossain.

A special team of Adabar police station conducted a drive at Road No-2 of Shekhertek in the morning and arrested the five suspected robbers at around 12:30 pm, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station Sheikh Shahiur Rahman.

They were preparing to commit robbery, the OC said that several sharp weapons were recovered from their possessions, he said.
