Police recover body of missing man in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, Oct 17 (UNB): Police recovered on Wednesday the body of a man who went missing a month ago from Habibpur village of Jibannagar upazila in Chuadanga district.

The deceased was identified as Ziarul Islam Ziar (38), son of Aizel Mandal of Paschimpara area in Habibpur village.

Deceased's wife Sukjan Khatun said Ziar left the house on September 14 and did not come back.

He remained missing since then.

Officer-in-charge of Jibannagar thana Sheikh Gani Mia said some local farmers spotted the body in a garden in the morning and informed police.

Police recovered the body and sent to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, he said.
