President assents to 11 bills

President Abdul Hamid assented on Monday to 11 bills passed in the 22nd session of the current parliament, reports UNB.

The bills assented by the President are the Dowry Prohibition Bill, 2018; National Skill Development Authority Bill 2018; Agricultural Marketing Bill, 2018, Fertiliser (Management) (Amendment) Bill 2018 and Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation Bill, 2018.

The six other bills are the Textile Bill, Sylhet Medical College Bill, Barind Multipurpose Development Authority (BMDA) Bill, National Academy for Planning and Development Bill, Hindu Religious Welfare Trust Bill and Bangladesh Employees Welfare Board (Amendment) Bill said a Parliament Secretariat handout.
