RAB nab three with Yaba pills in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Jan 21 (UNB): Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested three suspected drug traders along with 18,225 Yaba tablets from Nimtola under Bandar thana in the city on Sunday night.

The arrestees are Md Mozammel, 30, son of Farid Alam, Abdur Rahim, 40, son of late Abdul Alem and Md Nurul Islam, son of late Petan Ali, hailing from Ukhia upazila in Cox's Bazar district.

Tipped off, a team of RAB-7 set up a check post in the area at around 10:50 am, said a RAB press release.

On suspicion, when the team hauled a truck the drug traders who were in the vehicle tried to flee.
