Road accident kills man in city

A man was killed and another injured in a road accident in Science Laboratory area in the capital early Sunday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Md Alamgir (40), hailing from Nalchity Upazila in Jhalakathi district.
The accident took place when a speeding private car hit a rickshaw in the area around 12:30 am, leaving its passenger and puller injured critically, said sub-inspector Jasim Uddin of Dhanmondi Model Police Station. The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared Alamgir dead.
