Shantanu Biswas, chief operating officer of Ispahani Tea Limited and renowned tea taster of Bangladesh, passed away on Friday at a city hospital, says a statement.
He was also chairman of Tea Traders Association of Bangladesh.
Shantanu Biswas was an eminent artist, writer, lyricist and dramatist. He has four solo and two mixed albums.
He left behind his wife, two daughters and many well-wishers to mourn his death.
