Three 'robbers' die in 'gunfights' with police

Three suspected robbers were killed in 'gunfights' with police in Chapainawabganj and Cumilla districts early Saturday, reports UNB.

In Chapainwabganj, two suspected robbers were killed in a 'gunfight' with members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Kuicchagara area of Gomostopur Upazila early Monday.

The deceased were identified as Atikul Islam Atik (30), son of Sadikul Islam of Nandalalpur village of the upazila and Md Rajib (25), son of Bahar Ali of Borogacchi area of Bholahat Upazila. In Cumilla, a suspected robber was killed in a reported gunfight with police in Susandha area of Muradnagar Upazila early Monday.
