UGC reception to three nat'l professors July 09

University Grants Commission (UGC) will accord reception to the newly-appointed three national professors- Emeritus Professor Dr Rafiqul Islam, Emeritus Professor Dr Anisuzzaman and Professor Dr Jamilur Reza Choudhury, reports UNB.

UGC will arrange a reception to them at 3:00 pm on July 09 at its conference room, said a press release of UGC.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid is expected to be present as the chief guest at the programme.

Secondary and Higher Education Division, (MoE) Secretary Sohrab Hossain will be present as the special guest.

UGC Chairman Professor Abdul Mannan will preside over the reception ceremony where UGC members and renowned educationists will be present.
