US Army War College team visits BD Mission at UN

A delegation of the US Army War College visited the Permanent Mission of Bangladesh to the United Nations on Friday, reports UNB.

Chargé d'Affaires and Deputy Permanent Representative (DPR) Tarek Md Ariful Islam and Defense Adviser Brigadier General Khan Firoz Ahmed of the Permanent Mission of Bangladesh welcomed them.

The delegation, led by Professor John Tisson, was comprised of 21 members from different countries.

DPR Islam and Brig Gen Ahmed briefed the delegation about Bangladesh's engagement in UN peacekeeping operations, dedicated role of Bangladeshi peacekeepers and how Bangladesh is contributing to overcome the challenges being faced by the UN.
