Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet division in the next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Wednesday).

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, Met Office said.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Faridpur, Gopalganj, Kutubdia, Rajshahi, Pabna and Dinajpur which may continue and spread to the adjacent regions.

The country's highest temperature of 38.27 degrees Celsius was recorded on Tuesday in Rajshahi and the lowest of 21.9 degrees in Sylhet.
