Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in next 24 hours until 6pm today (Friday), reports UNB.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during midnight till morning and it may continue till noon over north western part of the country, Met Office said.

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions and the regions of Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Mymensingh, Srimangal, Comilla, Feni, Sitakunda and Hatiya. Current cold wave condition may continue.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's highest temperature 24.5 degrees Celsius was recorded on Thursday in Teknaf and lowest 06.0 degrees in Jessore.

The highest temperature recorded in Dhaka on Thursday was 17.8 degrees Celsius while the lowest was 11.2 degrees.

The sun sets in the capital today (Friday) at 5:30pm and rises tomorrow (Saturday) at 06:44am.
