Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Khulna, Dhaka, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places over the country in the next 24 hours until 6: pm today (Monday).

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Tangail, Maijdee Court, Rangamati, Rajshahi and Pabna and it may abate from few regions.

Day and night temperature may fall by (1-3) degree Celsius over the country, Met Office said.

The country's highest temperature of 37.6 degrees Celsius was recorded on Sunday in Rajshahi and the lowest of 21.3 degree in Sylhet.
