Rain/thundershowers with lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions and the regions of Noakhali and Cumilla in next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Tuesday), reports UNB.

Weather may remain mainly dry elsewhere over the country with hails at isolated places, the Met Office said.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the region of Rajshahi.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's highest temperature 37.2 degrees Celsius was recorded on Monday at Khulna and Satkhira and lowest 21.1 degrees at Rajarhat.
