Light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymenshingh and Sylhet divisions.

The same may take place at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions in the next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Tuesday).

Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Faridpur, Madaripur, Rajshahi and Pabna and it may continue, reports UNB.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the Met Office said.

The country's highest temperature 39.7 degrees Celsius was recorded on Monday in Chuadanga and the lowest 21.5 degrees at Sylhet.

The sun sets in the city today (Tuesday) at 6:48 pm and rises tomorrow (Wednesday) at 5:11 am.
