Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, reports UNB.

It may also occur at few places over Khulna and Barishal divisions in the next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Thursday).

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Pabna and it may continue, the Met Office said.

Day and night temperature may fall by (1-3) degrees Celsius over the country.

The country's highest temperature 37.8 degrees Celsius was recorded on Wednesday in Khulna and the lowest 20.4 degrees in Netrakona.
