Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Sylhet, Dhaka, Rangpur and Rajshahi with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country in next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Thursday), reports UNB.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, the Met Office said.

The country's highest temperature 35.0 degrees Celsius was recorded on Wednesday in Sylhet and the lowest 23.8 degrees in Rangamati and Tarash.

The sun sets in the city today (Thursday) at 6:38 pm and rises tomorrow (Friday) at 5:12 am.
