Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind and flashes of lightning are likely at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Sylhet, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places in next 24 hours until 6:00 pm today (Thursday), reports UNB.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the Met Office said.

The country's highest temperature 36.5 degrees Celsius was recorded on Wednesday at Rangamati and the lowest 19.4 degrees at Nikli, Netrakona and Srimangal.
