Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at many places over Barishal and Chattogram divisions, reports UNB.

It may also occur at a few places over Khulna division and at one or two places over Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions in next 24 hours until 06:00 pm today (Wednesday).

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, Met Office said.

Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may fall slightly over northern part and may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.

The country's highest temperature 31.8 degrees Celsius was recorded on Tuesday in Ishwardi and the lowest 16.9 degrees in Tetulia.
