AL to resist plot against polls politically: Maya

CHANDPUR, Feb 17 (BSS): Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya today said that any sorts of conspiracies regarding the next general election would be faced politically.

"Awami League is alert and the party will resist any sorts of conspiracies regarding the next parliament polls politically. Everything will happen as per the constitution," he told a rally on government's development programmes at Haji Moinuddin High School ground in Matlab Uttar upazila of the district.

Chandpur Zila Parishad Chairman Osman Gani Patwari, Jubo League leader Sajedul Hossain Chowdhury Dipu, Upazila Chairman Manjur Ahmed Manju and Awami League upazila unit General Secretary MA Quddus, among others, spoke with Farazikandi Union Parishad Chairman Delowar Hossain Danesh in the chair, said an official release.

Maya said IT park, special economic zone and power in every houses will bring dynamic changes in Matlab Uttar upazila.

The minister sought vote for 'Boat', the election symbol of Awami League, in the next general election to continue the present trend of development.
