Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leaders who were left out of the new central committee staged a demonstration on the Dhaka University campus on Wednesday, protesting Monday's attack on them.
They formed a human chain near the Aparajeyo Bangla where about 50 leaders were present.

But its incumbent president and general secretary have given posts to the controversial leaders, sidelining many dedicated leaders and activists, claimed the BCL leaders who could not make it to the new committee.
Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) leader BM Lipi Akhter claimed that 22 newcomers have got posts in the committee, whereas many eligible leaders were left out.
On Monday, at least 200 leaders and activists staged a demonstration on the DU campus since evening after the 301-member central committee was announced.
They also gathered at Madhur Canteen at night on that day for a press conference but the event was foiled by an attack. At least 20 BCL activists were injured in the attack.
