BCL man 'beats up' RU student

RAJSHAHI, Apr 28 (UNB): A Rahshahi University student sustained injuries as a leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) allegedly beat him up on Friday evening.

Jihad Hossain, a 4th year student of Anthropology Department, said Ruhul Amin Kisku alias Rack, vice-president of RU BCL, called him while he was sitting in front of Teacher Student Centre (TSC) around 6:30pm.

When Jihad went to Ruhul Amin, who was also staying near TSC, he started beating Jihad with an iron rod, leaving him critically injured.
