BCL men beat up theatre activist at RU

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, March 6 (UNB): A group of leaders and activists of the Rajshahi University unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League, student wing of the ruling Awami League, allegedly beat up a theatre activist on the campus on Tuesday night over a trivial matter.

The victim, Moinul Islam, is a final-year student of the mass communication and journalism department of the university and also a member of the university's theatre troop, Anushilon Natyadal. He is now undergoing treatment at RMCH.
