BNP on Thursday announced a two-day programme demanding the cancellation of 'anti-state' bilateral documents signed with India, and protesting the killing of Buet student Abrar Fahad, reports UNB.

As part of the programme, the party will arrange public gatherings in Dhaka and all other metropolitan cities on Saturday.

BNP will also arrange similar programmes on Sunday in all the district towns.

BNP standing committee member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain announced the programmes at a press conference at the party's Nayapaltan central office.

On June 5, Bangladesh and India signed seven bilateral instruments after a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

Abrar, 21, a resident of Sher-e-Bangla Hall of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet), was reportedly beaten to death by some Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists of the university unit following his Facebook post opposing some deals with India.
