BSF picks up three BD nationals from Thakurgaon border

THAKURGAON, May 13 (UNB): Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) detained three Bangladeshi nationals from Paria border in Baliadangi upazila of the district early Sunday.

The detainees were identified as Shah Alam (35), son of Sirajul Islam of Taranjhuri village, Abu Sayeed (24), son of Ismail Hossain of Horinmari Noyabasti village and Pobarul Hossain (26), son of Tofarul islam of Notabari village in the upazila.

Lt Col Mohammad Hossain, commanding officer of Border Guard Bangladesh battalion no 50, said a BSF team detained the three nationals from an area adjacent to 385 no pillar on the border line around 4:00 am.
