The first two parts of a compilation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's questions and answers in the ninth parliament have been published, reports UNB.
They will give readers a glimpse of the PM's prudence and her determination and willingness to take the country forward. It will also give an idea about the vast development activities under various ministries and departments.
"Nabam Jatiya Sangsad: Pradhanmantrir Prashnottar" (Ninth Jatiya Sangsad: Prime Minister's Question-Answer) were handed over to the premier at her Parliament office on Thursday.
PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim and speech writer Md Nazrul Islam handed over the two parts to the PM.
Prime Minister's Office Secretary Sajjadul Hassan and PM's Personal Secretary-1 Md Tofazzel Hossain Miah were also present.
Ihsanul Karim was the chief editor of the compilation while Nazrul had compiled and edited it.
PM's Assistant Press Secretary MM Emrul Kayas had also extended assistance in the process.
Former director general of the Department of Film and Publication Mohammad Istak Hossain supervised the publication.
Sheikh Hasina introduced the prime minister's question-answer session in parliament for the first time to give an institutional shape to parliamentary democracy.
The Prime Minister's questions and answers in the Ninth Parliament are being published in 11 volumes.
Gourab Publisher published the compilation and they are available at Ekushey Book Fair.
