Court defers hearing against Moudud to July 11

A Dhaka court has adjourned until July 11 the hearing of a graft case against BNP leader Barrister Moudud Ahmed, reports BSS.
Judge Dr Sheikh Golam Mahbub of Dhaka Special Judge Court-6 passed the order as a new witness testified in the case and was cross-examined.
Engineer Moshiur Zaman of Ministry of Housing and Public Works appeared as prosecution witness number 33.
Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on September 16, 2007, filed the case with Gulshan thana for amassing illegal wealth worth Tk 73.8 million and concealing statement about wealth of Tka 44 million.
The ACC on May 14, 2008, submitted charge sheet against Moudud in the case and the court on June 21, 2017, framed charges against him.
