Court extends bail of journo Hedayet

KHULNA, Jan 14 (UNB): A court here on Monday extended the bail of journalist Hedayet Hossain Mollah until January 29 in a case filed under the Digital Security Act.
Hedayet, the district correspondent of Bangla Tribune, was accused of using 'false' information in a report on the election results of Khunla-1 constituency.
Khulna District and Sessions Judge Mashiur Rahman Chowdhury accepted Hedayet's bail extension petition and fixed January 29 for hearing a petition seeking permanent bail.
