Ctg Mohila Dal chief Monwara suspended

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 06: President of Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal Chattogram city committee Monwara Begum Moni was suspended from the organisation for her involvement in anti-party activities.

Monwara Begum Moni was suspended for her involvement in activities hurting interests of the organisation, says a press released singed by General Secretary of Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal central committee Sultana Ahamed.

The press release also said Fatema Badshah, senior vice president of Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal Chattogram city committee, will be the acting president of the committee.

Mentionable that Monwara Begum Moni, who is also an elected ward councillor of Chattogram City Corporation (CCC), told journalists that she will support the incumbent mayor of CCC AJM Nasir Uddin for the mayoral race in the upcoming CCC polls to be held next year.

Following this, she was suspended from Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal Chattogram city committee.
