Detectives nab nine Jamaat, Shibir men in Satkhira

Satkhira, May 15 (UNB): Detectives arrested nine leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir from different parts of the district town on Tuesday.

The arrestees are Obaidullah Mollah (50), secretary of Satkhira municipality unit Jamaat-e-Islami, his wife Rajia Sultana (32), Meherullah (45), Maulana Abdul Hai Siddique (32), secretary of ward-7 unit Jamaat of the municipality, SM Haider Ali (55), Aminur Rahman, secretary of Kamalnagar ward unit Islami Chhatra Shibir, Mokhlesur Rahman (30), Russel Iqbal (28), and Alamin (20).
