Dr Kamal returns from Thailand

Jatiya Oikyafront Convener and Gono Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain returned home from Thailand on Tuesday, reports UNB.

Dr Kamal along with his wife Hameeda Hossain reached Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in a Thai Airways flight around 12:30pm, Gono Forum leader Rafiqul Islam Pathik said.

He said his party president went to Thailand from Singapore after receiving treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital there.

On January 19, Dr Kamal along with his wife went to Singapore for medical purposes.

Pathik said Dr Kamal Hossain was supposed to return home early Monday, but it was deferred for some unavoidable reasons.

He said a meeting of Oikyafront steering committee will be held soon with Dr Kamal Hossain in the chair to work out their next course of action.
