Encourage youths to take part in positive politics

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman GM Quader said on Tuesday the young generation must be encouraged to get involved in positive politics for building the country removing the current politics of degradation, reports UNB.

"The politics of degradation is destroying the country's young generation. To save them from it, the youth must be brought back to the politics of development, prosperity, peace and sacrifice," he said.

GM Quader came up with the remarks while exchanging views with the central leaders of Jatiya Jubo Sanghati, the youth wing of the Jatiya Party, at the party chairman's Banani office.

He said his party wants to give the youth a political platform from where they can engage themselves in the service of the country being imbued with the ideals of positive politics.

"A vacuum has been prevailing in politics, and JP has to fill this void. People want to see JP as an alternative political force," Quader said.

He said JP will turn into a party of people and activist-friendly one. "Jatiya Party will be owned by its leaders and it won't be used to protect the interests of a few leaders."
