Acting Jatiya Party chairman GM Quader speaking at a press briefing on 'Ershad's health condition' at the party's Banani office in the city on Sunday — Focus Bangla Acting Jatiya Party (JP) chairman GM Quader said on Sunday the health condition of ailing Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad has improved slightly, reports BSS.
"His health condition is better than yesterday (Saturday), however, he is still not out of danger," GM Quader told a press briefing at the party's Banani office in the city, a press release said.
Ershad has been put on artificial ventilation and dialysis is being conducted to remove the excess water and toxins from his body, he added.
The acting JP Chairman said the doctors are hopeful about Ershad's full recovery, and they are trying their best to provide him with necessary medications.
A milad mahfil was organised by Jatiya Olama Party at 11:00 am on Sunday at the Jatiya Party Chairman's Banani office seeking blessings for his early recovery.
