HC hearing on Shahidul's bail plea next week

The High Court (HC) has fixed next week to hear the bail petition of Shahidul Alam, Managing Director of Drik Gallery, in a case filed under the Information, Communica-tion and Technology (ICT) Act, reports UNB.

The HC bench of Justice Md Ruhul Quddus and Justice Khandaker Diliruzzaman passed the order on Wednesday.

Barrister Sarah Hossain stood for Alam while Barrister Joytirmoy Barua also was present.

Earlier on Tuesday they moved a petition with the HC seeking bail for Shahidul Alam.
