JU pro-AL teachers lock into scuffle, six assaulted

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Apr 17 (UNB): Six pro-Awami League teachers of JU (anti-VC group) were assaulted on Tuesday during a scuffle with another faction of pro-AL teachers (who support the VC) at the transport gate on the campus.

Witnesses said the anti-VC group teachers tried to obstruct operation of staff bus on the campus around 4.00am as part of their previously announced daylong strike.

The supporter group of the VC went to the spot and locked into a scuffle with the anti-VC group when the six teachers were allegedly assaulted.
