JUAA polls on April 5

A candidate, contesting the university's Alumni Association (JUAA) election slated for April 5, has raised concerns about the activities of the election commission, reports UNB.

SM Sadat Hossain, fighting for the general secretary's post, accused the EC of pressuring him to withdraw from the race.

"It also tried to illegally cancel my candidacy," he alleged on Wednesday afternoon on Wednesday afternoon. "I've lost faith in the commission."

He claimed that the EC illegally gave the presiding officer responsibility for preparing ballot papers.
