Khaleda has two ways for redemption: Hanif

KUSHTIA, Oct 08 (BSS): Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif said on Monday BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia can get rid of her allegations by seeking mercy to the President after accepting crimes.

"There are two ways of her redemption. She can go through legal procedures or seek clemency to the President after accepting her crimes," Hanif told newsmen after the inaugural function of a pure drinking water project at Kushtia Government Women's College here.

"If the President pardons her she can be released. Otherwise there is no chance of her release," he added.

He said people, who want to wage a movement regarding Khaleda's release, they do not want to take part in the upcoming election; rather they want to create anarchy across the country with their illogical demands.
