Khaleda sick, unable to eat properly, says Fakhrul

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said on Tuesday his party chairperson Khaleda Zia neither can eat anything properly nor keep her head straight as her health condition has seriously deteriorated, reports UNB.

"She vomited today before coming here (to the court). She now can't eat anything. She was not given any treatment," he told reporters after his conversation with Khaleda in a makeshift court inside Old Dhaka Central Jail.

"She told me she's very sick and she's not been given any treatment. Her condition has badly deteriorated. But no doctor came to visit her yet. Her blood sample was not collected for tests," the BNP leader added.
