KM Obaidur Rahman's 11th death anniv today

The 11th death anniversary of former BNP secretary general KM Obaidur Rahman will be observed today (Wednesday), reports UNB.

Local BNP unit and Obaidur Rahman Smriti Sangsad have chalked out various programmes to mark the day, said a press release.

As part of the programme, BNP leaders, freedom fighters, and common people will place wreaths at Obaidur Rahman's grave at Nagarkanda's Loskardia village in Faridpur in the morning.

They will also offer fateha there and a munajat seeking salvation of the departed soul of Obaidur Rahman, also a freedom fighter.
