Mayor Ivy's condition improves

NARAYANGANJ, Jan 20 (UNB): The condition of Narayanganj City Corporation Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy, who suffered a brain haemorrhage and is now taking treatment at Labaid Hospital in the capital, is much better now, said her physicians on Saturday.

Prof Dr Baren Chakrabarti, head of the Cardiology Department of the hospital, said the physical condition of Ivy is much better now, but the details can be known after getting the fresh CT scan and MRI report.

"Mayor Ivy is now eating normal food and she has no other complications physically except a small injury mark on her leg," he said.
