Menon terms Oikya Front's election manifesto baseless

Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon said on Tuesday the election manifesto of Jatiya Oikya Front is wired and baseless, reports BSS.

Criticising the election manifesto of Oikya Front, Menon said, "They are making false pledges to the people just to win the election anyhow…Actually their manifesto was weird and baseless."

Menon, also the president of Worker's Party, was speaking as the chief guest at a view-exchange meeting with teachers, employees and workers of Dhaka University (DU).

Awami League (AL) Ward no 21 unit organised the meeting.

"They have mentioned about the trial of war criminals in their manifesto, but there is nothing about the trial at the manifesto of BNP…Moreover, they have confused the young people as they said there will be no age limit for government job," he said.

There are no people of Oikiya Front at field level, but their leaders are daydreaming, he said.

"The hotchpotch unity will fall after the victory of AL in the next election,"

he added.
