Mosharraf seeks vote for 'boat' to retain dev trend

FARIDPUR, Oct 05 (BSS): LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain on Saturday urged the electorate to cast their votes for 'boat', election symbol of Awami League, to keep up peace and help build Bangladesh as a developed nation.
"There is no alternative to casting votes for 'boat' in order to maintain peace across the country and build Bangladesh as a developed nation," said the minister while addressing an election rally on United High School premises near Kholil Mondoler Haat.
Char Madhobdia Union AL organised the programme with its president Tuhinur Rahaman Khokon Mondol in the chair.
AL district president Advocate Subol Chandra Saha, vice-president and Zila Parishad chairman Lokman Hossain Mridah, and joint secretary Jharna Hasan, among others, spoke on the occasion.
The minister said "No people would remain unfed and homeless if Sheikh Hasina comes to power again".
Mosharraf reiterated that only Sheikh Hasina could bring smiles on the faces of the common people by establishing social justice across the
country.
