Admiral Nizamuddin Ahmed Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Nizamuddin Ahmed returned home on Wednesady, after attending the 6th Indian Ocean naval symposium held in Iran.
Assistant chief of Naval staff (Operation) and high-ups of his force received him at Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, says a press release.
During his stay in Iran, Admiral Nizamuddin held meetings with Iran Navy commander Real Admiral Dr. Hossein Khanzandi and Vice Admiral Hizroshi Yamamura of Japan Maritimes Self Defence.
He discussed bilateral and multilateral issues with them.
The Bangladesh navay chief left for Iran on April 21 to join the defence exercise.
