‘New generation must know true history of Liberation War’

Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujon said on Tuesday the actual history of the Liberation War should be presevered by publishing more books on it as the new generation must know the actual history of Independence War, reports BSS.

The minister said, "It is our duty to place the right information of the Liberation War before the young generation. The new generation will know the genuine history of the Liberation War if freedom fighters write books on the independence of the country." He was addressing as the chief guest at the unveiling ceremony of a book titled 'Bangladesher Rajneeti' at the National Press Club in the city.

The book was published by Abul Hossain Peace Foundation and written by freedom fighter Abul Hossain.

Dhaka University Professor Mohammad Anisuzzaman and former joint-secretary of National Freedom Fighter Council Mir Md Asalat were the special guests at the ceremony.
