No alternative to victory of AL: HT Imam

Prime Minister's Political Affairs Adviser and Awami League Advisory Council Member HT Imam said on Monday there is no alternative to victory of Awami League in the next general election, reports BSS.

"We will be able to win in the next general election with our election symbol 'Boat' under the leadership of Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina," he told a discussion at the National Press Club. `Pratyagata Prabashi Awami Forum' organized the discussion.

Food Minister Advocate Qamrul Islam addressed the discussion as the special guest with `Pratyagata Prabashi Awami Forum' Convener MA Kashem in the chair.

The PM's adviser called upon the Awami League leaders and workers to work in unision to ensure the party's victory in the parliamentary election.

Referring to contributions of expatriates to the country's economy, HT Imam urged the Bangladeshi expatriates, who returned home, to campaign for the Awami League through social media showcasing the development activities of the incumbent government.

Speaking on the occasion, Qamrul Islam said BNP-Jamaat evil forces are out to hatch conspiracies to create anarchy in the country ahead of the next parliamentary election.
