North City BNP announces thana, ward unit committees

BNP Dhaka North City unit announced full fledged committees of its all thanas and ward units on Sunday night, reports UNB.

Dhaka North city unit BNP President Abdul Quayum and General Secretary Ahsanullah Hasan approved the committees, said a press release.

It said 121-member full-fledged committees of all the 25 thanas and 71- member full-fledged committees of all 58 wards under the Dhaka North City Unit BNP have been formed.

The committees were announced over one year after the formation of Dhaka North City Unit of BNP.

Earlier on April 19, 2017, BNP divided its Dhaka City unit into south and north ones and formed committees of the two new units.

Ex-ward commissioners Abdul Quayum and Ahsanullah Hasan were made president and general secretary respectively of the Dhaka North City unit BNP.
