Politicians must be ideal persons: Amu

JHALAKATHI, Mar 31 (BSS): Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu said today persons willing to do politics must bear the characteristics of idealism and delivering services to people.

"Awami League leaders must bear the ideology of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with possessing good human qualities," he told a view-exchange meeting at Merchant Girls High School in Nalchity Upazila of the district.

With upazila AL president Toslimuddin in the chair, it was addressed, among others, by district unit AL general secretary Advocate Khan Sifullah Panir, AL leaders Advocate Yunus Loshkor, Engineer GK Mostafizur Rahman, Dr Eskinder Ali Khan and HM Akteruzzaman Bachchu.

Amu said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly to establish 'Sonar Bangla' as dreamt by the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
