Pro-BNP JU teachers observe hunger strike

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Sept 12 (UNB): Pro-BNP teachers and staff of Jahangirnagar University (JU)on Wednesday observed mass-hunger strike at the premises of Shaheed Minar on the campus demanding the party chief Khaleda Zia's release and better treatment for her.

Around 50 teachers and officials under the banner of "Jahangirnagar Nationalist Teachers-Officers-Staff Forum" took part in the programme which began at11:00am and continued till 1.00pm.
