Shahriar for upholding Sheikh Hasina's achievement

RAJSHAHI, May 19 (BSS): State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam has said the present government with dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina attained remarkable success in various development fields.

He urged the leaders and workers of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) to uphold the achievements with collective efforts so that the country's image could be brightened furthermore in both home and abroad.

The state minister was addressing as the chief guest an extended meeting of the local unit of BCL at Bagha Upazila Complex auditorium in the district on Friday.

Chaired by unit active president Sohanur Rahman the meeting was addressed, among others, by Awami League leaders Ashraful Islam, Abu Bakar Siddique, Azizul Islam, Sirajul Islam and Amirul Islam and BCL leaders, Merajul Islam, Hasibul Islam, Sujan Mahmud and Masud Rana.

Shahriar Alam defined the country at present is progressing fast in every sector, especially in improving foreign policy, ICT, food production, power generation and distribution, education, women empowerment, foreign remittance earning, GDP and per capita income.

Mentioning that Bangladesh was moving ahead on all fronts, he renewed his government's vow to turn the country into a peaceful abode in South Asia.
