Speaker returns home from France

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury returned home on Monday from Paris in France after attending a conference on Rohingya crisis there, report agencies.

The conference titled 'International Conference on the Rohingya Situation in Myanmar and Bangladesh' was held at the National Assembly in Paris on Friday.

The Speaker attended the conference at the invitation of French Parliament, said a PID handout.

She addressed the conference as the chief discussant and exchanged views with experts on Rohingya issue.

She also met Madame Carol Bureau Bonnard, first vice president of France National Assembly.
